But of course, children can hardly wait to open their gifts under the Christmas tree. People are singing the old familiar carols. Everyone is happy. How we all wish that everyday could be like Christmas!
However, in the middle of all our celebration and parties, may we all remember the reason why there is Christmas. It’s the birthday of the King! The King who was born in a stable, lay on a manger; died on the cross that we may live and rose again that we may be born into eternal life.
May Christ fill our hearts and home not only tonight but all the days of our lives.
