Ten years after the 9-11 terror attack on the World Trade Center twin towers in New York City, its image of terror has kept a serious scar in the minds of American people and of the world who have witnessed the evil assault on innocent civilians.

America has commemorated the tragic event at ground zero. There have been moments of silence as the names of the three thousand people who have perished have been recited.
The United States of America has gone to war in Iraq and Afghanistan to hunt down the perpetrators of the terror attack- Osama Bin Laden and the Al Qaeda; and Saddam Hussein. Bin Laden and Hussein are now both dead. President Barrack Obama has said that finally justice has been done after US forces have killed Bin Laden. However, the Al Qaeda network still vows vengeance and continuing war against the US.
What I do not understand is why these terrorists target civilian? Do they hope to destroy America by killing people? Do they really think they can accomplish their goal that way? Violence in never an option for civilized people. If they want to go to war against the USA and punish her for the atrocities she herself allegedly has committed, then they should attack US military installations instead and not innocent people who are working decently for their family. At least, military personal are trained for combat and are equipped to defend themselves against all threat.
I hope this vicious killing ends.It degrades humans into savage beasts hungry for innocent blood. All civilized and democratic people must not tolerate such works of evil in our society.
