The festive celebration has begun with a colorful and lively street pageantry that has featured the best loved Disney characters. The wonderful lighting of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle has highlighted the occasion with an awesome fireworks display. It has been all because of Tinker Bell’s beautiful magic, supposedly.

This year, Tinker Bell graces the celebration and she will stay for the entire year. So, those kids who want to meet Tinker Bell in person, she is in Hong Kong Disneyland. It would be a great treat this coming summer vacation. As I’ve seen from the video footage, she looks very charming and adorable. I would love to see her personally.

But the best news about Hong Kong Disneyland’s fifth year anniversary is that the theme song for the celebration “Celebration is in the Air,” is a composition by a Filipino musician, Rony Fortich. I’ve learned from KMJS (Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho TV program) that he is also the Musical Director of the theme park. He calls the shots when it comes to the music that you’ll hear and listen to inside the park. What a great feat! A Filipino has done it again! And he’s not alone, a good number of Filipino musicians perform regularly there as well. It’s perfectly amazing.
