FOR THE TRUST OF ATE FRAN

Last week, I received a text message from a teacher who was looking for someone who could arrange a vocal notation for a song that a student soloist would use in a singing competition this coming October 24, 2008 in Palawan (Philippines). She said that my mentor and our church choir director, Ate Fran Tiburcio, referred me to her. I was reluctant at first because I had not done it for other people in the past but after knowing that Ate Fran made the referral, I was extremely delighted. I did not know that she would have that much trust that I could do the job, to refer me to the searching teacher. The other day, I had formally accepted the job after meeting with the soloist student, Elisha Cyrille Ferraz, and her teacher Ms, Jenny Rose Gomez first, for the trust of Ate Fran, second, because Elisha and Ms. Jenny needed a help that I could give and third because I believe God is at work.

Right now, I am halfway finished. I am hoping to finish the piece- THE DAY HE WORE MY CROWN-, which Sandi Patty has sung, before the end of the month. The Lord bless us!
