People have used sculpture as a medium for communication and art. Many centuries ago, men have used rock walls to preserve their culture. They carve stones, tablets and pieces of wood to write about their ways and norms to keep a legacy for the next generations that would come.
Along the years, sculpture has become an important form of art and I have heard about people carving wood, ice, clay, even steel to express artistry. I have seen chefs carve fruits like watermelon, apples, oranges, etc. to garnish their mouth-watering dishes.
However, I find it amazing to see a banana fruit as a medium for sculpture carving. Keisuke Yamada, a Japan-born artist uses banana fruits for his carvings. I can say that his ingenuity is at the extreme! Amazing work of art!
